Indequip launched onto the industrial equipment scene in August 2003. From its humble beginnings, it has not only quadrupled in employee size but is also fast outgrowing its 15,000 sq. ft. warehouse full of 18,000 different products and is looking to expand.
Its catapult to its current spot as one of the UK’s leading suppliers was no surprise thanks to the passion behind the company.

While working as a national distribution manager for Metal Work, a leading Italian pneumatics business, Ian Simpson visited its Irish distributor, PI Pneumatics. Seeing the industrial parts catalogue PI Pneumatics produced, Simpson was both impressed and excited by the publication and wanted to bring that to the UK market. Following months of negotiations with the Irish company, Simpson and his Irish-based business partner, Michael O’Reilly set up shop in northwest England.

Indequip prides itself on its friendly and helpful customer service as well as its informative technical support. From day one, the company’s mission has been to create relationships with its customers based on trust and professionalism.
